Trevor Lawrence prop bets have an added dynamic as the dual-threat quarterback can produce in a variety of ways in Monday’s College Football Playoff national championship game between Clemson and LSU.

The following Trevor Lawrence prop bets and Clemson vs. LSU betting odds are courtesy of FanDuel.

Trevor Lawrence prop bets

Trevor Lawrence over/under 295.5 passing yards (-112)

In 14 games this season, Trevor Lawrence threw for more than 295 yards twice. In one game, Lawrence threw for exactly 295 yards. I’m willing to dismiss those numbers as Clemson was often playing ahead with a large lead.

That likely won’t be the case Monday against LSU, so expect Lawrence to have four full quarters to air the ball out.

I don’t love this prop bet, but if forced to choose, I’d lean towards the over. If Clemson is trailing, that could put even more of an emphasis on the passing game.

LSU allowed more than 295 passing yards three times this season, with all three coming in shootouts. With this game projected to be high-scoring, it’s not out of the question Lawrence has a big day.

Trevor Lawrence over/under 53.5 rushing yards (-112)

Even though Lawrence is a very capable runner, the total here seems ambitious. Lawrence rushed for more than 53 yards just three times this season, including 107 yards on 16 attempts last game against Ohio State.

It’s possible Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney continues to use Lawrence as a runner as an added wrinkle, but there just isn’t enough here for me to take the over.

Lawrence under 53.5 rushing yards (-112) it is.

Any time touchdown scorer: Trevor Lawrence (-110)

Lawrence rushed for a touchdown in eight games this season. The odds here aren’t all that favorable, but it’s not enough to deter me. This seems like one of the safer Trevor Lawrence prop bets Monday.

First touchdown scorer: Lawrence (+900)

If you’re going to bet Lawrence as an any time touchdown scorer, this one could be worth a small wager as a companion bet. It’s too random to feel strongly about it one way or another.

Trevor Lawrence to score 2+ receiving/rushing touchdowns (+525)

Despite scoring eight touchdowns this season, Lawrence didn’t have a single multi-touchdown game. Spend your money elsewhere.

Trevor Lawrence to Pass for 300+ Yards, Rush for 50+ Yards, and Clemson to Win (+400)

While it’s entirely possible Clemson wins outright, I am taking LSU with a point spread of -5. That eliminates me here. Even if you disagree with the outcome, there are just too many variables for this bet to hit. You would need two unlikely events in addition to the underdog winning outright. Pass.

Trevor Lawrence to rush for a touchdown and Clemson to win (+300)

Again, this depends entirely on whether you think Clemson can win outright as an underdog. The touchdown isn’t out of the question, so this is a Trevor Lawrence prop bet to consider with favorable odds.
