Tom Brady wound up being picked in the sixth round of the NFL Draft in the year 2000. He was pick number 199 in the NFL Draft order and yet still managed to become one of the best players in history.

There are many players who have set themselves apart from the rest of the pack with their skills. So, we will look into the players that seem poised to cause a splash in the NFL Draft betting pool. Andrew Thomas had the honor of becoming an unanimous All-American pick in the year 2019. This honor came after two previous years as an All-American player. Thomas will potentially be the first offensive lineman to be snatched up in the NFL Draft this year.
As such, he is considered a smart bet when it comes to NFL Draft betting. Many expect Thomas to help lead his Quarterback, and team, to victory in years to come.

Plus, Kinlaw has the type of strength that puts a lot of pressure on the opposing team’s quarterback when push comes to shove.

He is also known for having a fierce work ethic, a winning combination. Lamb is a player everyone will enjoy having on their team.

6. Derrick Brown, Auburn, DL

This year, you need to look into the most skilled interior defensive lineman coming up in the Draft, Derrick Brown. Brown has been making waves since 2016, when he began playing for Auburn. He was already ranked ninth among high school football prospects in the country.
Brown may very well be the best defensive tackle going into the NFL Draft in 2020. So, you should think about Brown when it comes to your NFL Draft betting.

5. Jeff Okudah, Ohio St., CB

Jeff Okudah had an extremely strong season leading into this year’s NFL Draft. He is potentially the top cornerback prospective pick when it comes to the 2020 Draft. Another unanimous first team All-American pick, Okudah looks good in the world of NFL draft betting. Okudah could be a strong addition to any team and a strong player to bet on come Draft Day.

4. Isaiah Simmons, Clemson, LB

In 2018, the Clemson Tigers were able to pull off a College Football Playoff National Championship win against the Alabama Crimson Tide — largely due to Isaiah Simmons. One of the most skilled linebackers in the country, Simmons has shown the ability to complete shut out the other team. This linebacker is one to watch when it comes to betting on the Draft this year.

3. Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama, QB

Prior to being injured, Tagovailoa was considered potentially one of the top NFL Draft picks. People were throwing his name out as potentially the best quarterback going into the NFL Draft this year. However, faith in his recovery and his past stats still make him one to watch for betting on the Draft.
But, these worries could mean he would be chosen later in the Draft only to greatly prove his worth come game time.

2. Joe Burrow, LSU, QB

The Quarterback who led the LSU Tigers to their National Championship Game win in 2020. This makes Joe Burrow one of the top NFL Draft picks, for sure. Rumor has it the Cincinnati Bengals have their eyes on him for the first pick overall.
He has earned his place in history as one of the greatest college football quarterbacks ever. So, he is a safe pick when looking to bet on the NFL Draft.

How the NFL Draft Works

If you are going to be betting on things like the NFL Draft Order, you need to know how the Draft works. Every year, the team that has the worst record from the previous year is able to choose first in the Draft. So, this year, that team will be the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Draft order then continues that way, from the worst record holders to the best. The last Super Bowl winners will be picking last each round in the Draft. In order for a college football player to be eligible for the Draft, they need to have been out of high school for three years (in most cases).

The NFL Draft consists of seven rounds. This means that each team gets seven Draft picks. Plus, teams have the ability to choose supplemental picks to flesh out their main and practice squads.

Each round of the Draft has a time limit for the teams to make their Draft picks. The time the teams have to make their picks goes down as the rounds go by. The teams make sure to keep in close contact with their representative who is present at the Draft for them.
