With less than two weeks before Super Bowl LIV, now is the time to take a look at Super Bowl MVP odds for the big game. Per usual, the two quarterbacks are the favorites to win Super Bowl MVP. Nine of the last 13 Super Bowl MVP winners were quarterbacks.
Do not rule out a player just because they aren’t a quarterback. For example, last year wide receiver Julian Edelman was named MVP of Super Bowl LIII.
Edelman had 10 catches for 141 yards vs. the Philadelphia Eagles a year ago.
14 of the last 16 Super Bowl MVP winners were offensive players and the last running back to win the award was Ottis Anderson for the New York Giants, back in Super Bowl XXV.
