Mixed Martial Arts will take center stage again on Saturday from Jacksonville, Florida and the UFC Fight Night Odds continue to receive attention. There are plenty of Sportsbooks taking action on the 11-fight card and we're offering up our five Best Bets on the main card.
The UFC will host one more event in the River City this Saturday night. UFC 249 was the first major American sporting event since the coronavirus outbreak, and it was very popular with fans. Hundreds of thousands bought the PPV, and it ended up being one of the most wagered on MMA events ever.
The UFC Fight Night: Teixeira vs. Smith appears to have been a hit as well according to social media, and Dana White is optimistic that UFC Fight Night Odds on the Overeem vs. Harris will bring the ratings as well.

Overeem vs. Harris UFC Predictions
Walt Harris is the sentimental favorite on the UFC Fight Night Odds betting board after experiencing a heartbreaking tragedy last year. He was slated to fight Alistair Overeem last December, but pulled out of the fight after his stepdaughter was murdered. His struggle to overcome the incident has been widely documented and that narrative will be pushed Saturday.
Harris is a late comer to the world of MMA. He didn’t participate in his first fight until the age of 27, and it took some time for him to learn the ropes. He ended up making his UFC debut when he was 30 years old, but he has established himself as one of the most fearsome heavyweights. Harris knocked out Sergey Spivak and Aleksei Oleinik inside of one minute in his last two bouts, earning himself Performance of the Night for each win.
Overeem is one of the most successful heavyweights in the history of MMA. He has racked up 45 wins over a two-decade long career, and he has taken on some of the best fighters in the business. However, he is 4-3 since losing a title bout to Stipe Miocic, and he was knocked out in all three of his losses.
Overeem Bad Beat and Plastic Surgery
The big man's last loss was a very disappointing one too, as he was safely ahead of Jairzinho Rozenstruik on the cards. Overeem was knocked out in the final five seconds and this outcome one of the worst bad beats for UFC bettors. The damage done to Overeem's face was unforgettable.
It’s tempting to take Harris given his story and handicapping emotions is tricky, which makes us believe Overeem is the play as an underdog.
Gadelha vs. Hill UFC Predictions
Over the last six years, Claudia Gadelha has essentially alternated wins and losses. Currently ranked No. 6 in the strawweight division, and her M.O. has been to beat every fighter ranked lower than her and lose to the six fighters that are above. Her losses have come against Joanna Jedrzejczyk (twice), Jessica Andrade, and Nina Ansaroff, and she has defeated every other competitor she has faced.
Angela Hill is still looking for a signature victory. She is 12-7 in her career, and she earned another chance to make a name for herself with three straight victories in the last eight months. Gadelha is a tough matchup for her though, as the Brazilian has a much better ground game, and Gadelha has a good chance of securing a submission victory.
Jotko vs. Anders UFC Predictions
Former Alabama Crimson Tide linebacker Eryk Anders won his first 10 MMA fights, but he has been disappointing lately. He has dropped four of his last seven fights, and his last victory was a split decision win over Gerald Meerschaert.
Krzysztof Jotko was 19-1 and looked set to challenge the top middleweights before a three-match losing streak sidetracked his ascent. He has climbed back with victories over Alen Amedovski and Marc-Andre Barriault, but his lack of power has hurt him. If this fight goes the distance, Jotko should get the win, but if it ends early, Anders will likely be the victor.
Barboza vs. Ige UFC Predictions
Edson Barboza is one of the most dangerous kickboxers in the UFC. Barboza was 25-3 with 22 knockouts as a kickboxer before moving to MMA, and his feet are how he wants to finish his foes. He is on a 1-4 skid, but three of those losses were to stars like champion Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, and Paul Felder.
Ige is an up and coming fighter, and he has won his last five bouts. However, he is taking a big step up by facing the dangerous Barboza. Barboza is dropping down to featherweight for this fight, and he has the power to be the first to knock out Ige. Keep in mind that sportsbooks have this as the tightest fight on the main card per the UFC Fight Night Odds.
Yadong vs. Vera UFC Predictions
If not for an illegal knee, Song Yadong would have won his last eight bouts coming into Saturday night. Unfortunately, the infraction led to a draw against Cody Stamann last December, and he would've won if he didn’t suffer a deduction.
Marlon Vera has defeated his opponent by TKO or submission in his last five fights, and he earned Performance of the Night for his knockout of Andre Ewell last October. Vera has yet to be knocked out or submitted and we believe he deserves a very strong look on Saturday!
